Hopefully, I can make up for my 1-2 Turkey Day picks, but as I have said before I am fairly conservative and most likely would have done a 3 team tease, which would have worked no matter which teams you picked on Thursday. So on to the picks and let's see if we can help some green roll in.
Buffalo at NY Jets (-9.5)
I know the Bills have been playing bad and they are missing Fred Jackson, but I can't get behind an almost 10 point spread for a Jets offense that has been playing very poorly. This could change because they are at home and they have already whipped Buffalo at home, but I am sticking to my guns and think that Buffalo will lose but cover the spread.
Carolina (-4) at Indy
Carolina has not been the model of consistency this year, but they have been able to do something that the Colts rarely do in their losses, which is score a decent amount of points. I know this is one of the last games that Indy has a chance to win, but I just don't see them putting up enough points to stay with Cam and Crew. Take Carolina and the points.
NE (-3.5) at Philly
New England has killed me this year from a betting perspective, but Tom Brady vs Vince Young and only 3.5 points is tough to stay away from. I think Belichick is going to put all of his efforts to stop McCoy and let VY try and beat him without Jeremy Maclin. Nnamdi and DRC are both game time decisions, which will hurt Philly. It is a must win game for Philly, but I don't see it happening today.
Let us hope that these picks can make up for our sub par Thursday. Good luck!
