I know this sounds crazy as I do think they are one of the best 2 teams in college right now. Right there I am kind of killing my own argument, but here me out on this one. What happens if Alabama beats LSU? Can you really crown them national champion? They lost to LSU at home already. I would have a tough time naming either of them national champion. The worst part of this scenario is that I think Alabama is better than LSU and outplayed them in their prior meeting. They couldn't hit their field goals and they now have to live with that.
Alabama getting a rematch against LSU would not give you a true national champion, therefore let Oklahoma State get a shot. I know they lost to Iowa State in a 2 overtime game, but at least if LSU beats them we can say we have a true national champion. If Oklahoma State wins and Alabama murders whoever they play...Well, let's worry about that only if it happens. Right now, I am putting my vote in for LSU vs Oklahoma State. By the way, the Cowboys can put up some points and would make for a fun game to watch in my opinion.
