Gambler's Corner for week 15

ATP decided to mail it in last week with the 3 team tease call, but it worked out perfectly as somebody I know actually bet the 3 team tease and then hedged it by taking the opposing 3 teams getting the points.  The result was a win on the 3 team tease and then 2 of the 3 opposing teams covered in the window as well.  So it was a good week for the unnamed person from last week.  This week looks even worse as I don't even like any 3 teams to tease.  I am not sure if Tennessee has any healthy quarterbacks and they are playing in Indy, who desperately needs a win.  The Saints are maybe the worst road team in the history of good teams in the NFL, so giving 7 on the road to anybody scares me.  Tebow vs Brady, we have no idea what to do with that one.  In my opinion, I think that the Broncos are going to be able to score some points this week, but missing so many guys in the defensive backfield is trouble when you are playing Tom Brady.  No matter what I pick this week, I am truly hoping to go .500 as these are tough picks this week.

My first pick of the week, drumroll please.... will be a monday night special.  I like the San Diego Chargers getting 2.5 points at home vs the Baltimore Ravens.  December Chargers are starting to liven up and the Ravens are right behind the Saints when it comes to playing on the road as they are a different team.  Rivers will be able to take advantage of this Raven secondary and I think they come out with a straight out victory in this one.

There are a lot of people that are against me with this one, but I like the Detroit Lions who are giving one to go to Oakland and get the win.  They are favored by one and I think with Mr. Suh coming back, that defense will be ready to stop whoever is in the backfield this week.  This one doesn't count but I wouldn't be surprised to see this one go over the 47.5 as well.

My 2 picks for the week are San Diego and the Detroit Lions both fighting for their playoff lives and I think they are good picks.  If you don't feel safe taking them straight up, you can always tease them with the over in the Detroit game as well.  I might substitute the Redskins for the Lions in a 3 team tease though.  I don't see the Giants winning by more than 16, but you never know.  Good luck this week!
