Greg Schiano is a Great Pick up for the Bucs!
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers recently hired Greg Schiano as their head coach and for once I think they did something right. Schiano, who has been coaching at Rutgers for quite some time, was able to turn them into a team that was considered the bottom of the bottom in division 1 football to a relevant team. They at one point went 10-2 and were ranked as high as 6th nationally. In case you missed it, I just said he had Rutgers as high as 6th nationally. I like to think that if you can coach, you can coach at any level. Some people, it seems that it is not the case, but that is how I feel. This guy has the intellect to coach at this level as he is of the Belichick mind, but he does have the youthful energy to deal with today's NFL player as well. The Buccaneers have a solid defense, a decent young quarterback and now the right coach to turn them around. I think you see results in year one with Schiano leading the way.
