What Brady and Belichick do Better than Anybody!

The Hooded one will be ready
this weekend!
I was not sure how to wrap up the weekend as the obvious theme should be turnovers.  I don't want to even talk about the Packers and Giants as that was embarrassing as it gets, but what it actually got me thinking about, which has been largely neglected this weekend, is how good Belichick and Brady are? Follow me for a minute as we know how good they are, but if you look at what happened this weekend and see how the two most talented teams lost this weekend, a third, the Houston Texans did their best to lose a very winnable game.  People will begin to talk about the two week layoff and how it affects teams, but I noticed how San Francisco, Baltimore and the Patriots all had the same lay off and did their best not to lose their games.

As will Brady and his Game Face!

I am fairly certain that the Patriots are not the most talented team in the league, but they are probably the best left and in my opinion, it is their ring to lose.  The Giants are a matchup issue, but the Packers did a pretty good job of keeping that pass rush away and it was mostly their own mistakes that did them in.  A Brady/Belichick team will not shoot themselves in the foot.  When they get beat for the most part, they are outplayed.  The Jets dominated both sides of the ball in last year's playoffs as did the Ravens a couple of years ago.  Very rarely, will you see momentum changing plays on special teams go against the teams left in the playoffs besides the Giants.  The Giants have earned their spot to be here, but I still think the Eagles would be beat them tomorrow 8 out of 10 times.  They outplayed the Falcons, but I think the Packers handed them yesterday's game on a platter.  I could see the Giants having a tough time against a well coached 49er team that had he a couple more years under his belt, I would say that Jim Harbaugh is the second best coach in the NFL behind the hooded one.   I am rooting for them as well as I think that the Patriots and 49ers deserve a shot as they have been the most consistent teams this year that are left.  Alex Smith showed that maybe he can be a very good quarterback in this league and I am rooting for him as well, because it is not easy to be thought of as a bust for all that time and then do what he did this past weekend.  John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens are good and consistent but they don't have the talent to win a big one.  Their defense is overrated as they are very good, but not enough to win against a  good offense like the one they will be facing in New England this week.  Kudos to them for not shooting themselves in the foot and it is not their fault that Jacoby Jones did his best Courtney Roby impression and fumbled inside his own 20 on special teams.  That is enough for this rant and we should appreciate some of the great coaches in this league and how they get their teams ready as it is highly underrated.
