Aaron Rodgers is licking his chops for this game as he has somehow been forgotten after having possibly the greatest season for a quarterback. Ideally, I do think they were better off playing the Falcons, as they wouldn't have been able to match up at all. I do think the Giants have started to show their true potential and the similarities to their recent Super Bowl win are there, but I think the Packers are tired of hearing about the Giants and their pass rush. The big question in my opinion will be the Packers defense as they have not looked good this season, especially against the run. The loss of Cullen Jenkins in the offseason is showing as they look pretty bad, which will be a real problem if they win and have to play the 49ers next week. They do have the defensive backs to make some big plays as they lead the league in interceptions, but they will have their hands full with this trio of Giant receivers.
In the end I expect a fairly high scoring game, but I think that the Packers coaching staff have worked pretty hard to make sure they have their ducks in a row when it comes to the Giant pass rush. If they can stop the rush, which nobody has been able to do as of late, then Aaron Rodgers will have a very big day as the Giants cornerbacks will not be able to slow them down. At any rate, I like the Packers to win this game, but I am not going to touch the 7.5 point line as I could see it go either way. If I had to pick I would go with the Packers and the discount double check, should be a good game to watch.
